I recently stayed at Dormy Inn Sapporo ANNEX, and I’m excited to share my review with you.
Details: Dormy Inn Sapporo ANNEX
The hotel is within walking distance of both Susukino and Odori Stations,
making it an incredibly convenient base for sightseeing or business trips in Sapporo.
Dormy Inn Premium Sapporo is located right across the street,
and that’s where you’ll go for breakfast and the famous “Yonaki Soba” (nighttime ramen).

Why choose ANNEX? The Auto-Loyly Sauna was the dealbreaker!
The biggest reason I chose ANNEX is simple:
They have a sauna with auto-loyly (automatic steam)!
This is an ANNEX-exclusive feature that you won’t find at the Premium building.
As a sauna lover, this was a must-have for me, haha.
Isn’t it inconvenient not having a breakfast hall in the same building?
Not at all! You just head to the Premium building right across the street, so it’s no problem.
I don’t mind a tiny bit of walking if it means getting that auto-loyly experience, haha.
Room Tour
It looks like the rooms were renovated in 2025,
because everything was incredibly clean!
Main Room
It’s a standard single room,
but thanks to the renovation, it felt very fresh and tidy.
The Bed
A simple single bed,
but it was very comfortable to sleep on.
TV & Desk
The TV is a Smart TV, so you can enjoy YouTube and Netflix!
This is one of those small details that makes a stay much better.
Toilet & Shower Room
Since Dormy Inn is known for its excellent public baths,
many rooms only come with a shower booth.
With a great public bath and sauna available, I didn’t mind at all!
Post-Bath Service
Of course, they have the classic Dormy Inn post-bath treats!
You can get free ice cream in the evening!
Ice cream and a beer after a long soak is the best feeling, haha.
Regarding the Nighttime Ramen (Yonaki Soba)
You need to go to the Premium building for the signature nighttime ramen.
…However, I was so relaxed from the sauna that I fell into a deep sleep
and completely missed the ramen! What a rookie mistake…!
I’ll definitely get my revenge next time, haha.
Price
I stayed on a Friday night,
and it was about 14,000 yen for one night including breakfast.
Dormy Inn rates tend to be lowest on Sundays,
so if your schedule is flexible, I highly recommend a Sunday stay!
Summary: If you love saunas, choose ANNEX!
With its auto-loyly sauna, Smart TV support,
and clean, renovated rooms,
Dormy Inn Sapporo ANNEX is high-spec and impressive!
I strongly recommend this hotel, especially for sauna enthusiasts.
